If doing a passport, don't bother coming until an hour after your appointment. They won't respect your time here. They have 9am appointments even though the passport guy doesn't even clock in until 10am. Because of that, all appointments are over an hour behind. Lines are always long and they take their lunch during typical lunch time and so if you're expecting to get something done during your lunch break, you're gonna be waiting in line for over an hour. I've only seen 2 cashiers at most, and often one gets pulled away.

The USPS office on Grand Avenue in Santa Ana was very dimly lit, making it difficult to see and creating an unwelcoming environment for both customers and employees. Replace the lights. Thank you

The USPS mail carrier who delivers mail at Latitude Apartment Homes does a terribly poor job. Important letters and packages have been left with neighbors multiple times. Fortunately, some of these neighbors have been honest enough to return our mail and packages to us. However, with previous neighbors we had, one woman kept my packages instead of giving them back. Please pay more attention to the people you hire, because the service being provided is unacceptable. USPS should provide better training for its employees or hire people who are capable of doing their job correctly and responsibly. Once again, your mail carrier delivered one of my packages to the neighbors in a different building. Fortunately, they are honest neighbors and returned the package, but not everyone would do the same. If that had not been the case, the package could have been lost. I respectfully ask that you provide proper training to your delivery personnel to ensure packages are delivered to the correct address. This is not the first time this has happened. On a previous occasion, we were expecting important documents, and those were also left with the neighbors. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I would appreciate your assistance in preventing similar situations in the future. 6/19/26

A package was lost when I sent it from this location. I should have known better to not finish packing in the lobby. I now do it in my car or at home. They removed the mail drop off bin outside. You now have to walk in and I assume that's so to safety of ensuring your mail is not tampered with. Some staff seem dead inside like they lost their soul but I've had a manager and another mail woman give me great advice on helping my package deliver safely.
