  This is a great little neighborhood post office right along San Ysidro Boulevard, and I've used it many times without any problems. As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series novels and the Maui Desire Romance Series, I travel extensively and regularly need dependable places to ship packages, documents, and other materials. This San Ysidro post office has always worked well for me. It's an older, classic post office building with a large PO Box area and plenty of parking outside. I've generally found multiple employees working the counter, which helps keep things moving when several customers arrive at once. The staff I've dealt with has always been professional and courteous. They have the usual assortment of shipping supplies available, so if you arrive without exactly the right box or packaging, you can usually get what you need inside. I've shipped quite a few things from this location over the years and haven't had any trouble. It's straightforward, convenient, and does exactly what I need a neighborhood post office to do.

  If I could give ZERO, I would. By far the worst PO. First of all, they don’t care about reviews. I am writing this if you need a PO BOX, go to another mailbox place. -if you have to pick up a pkg you will wait in a line with all other services. My wait times vary from 30 minutes to an hour. They do have lockers but don’t use them so you have to wait in line. There are 1-2 representatives at the counter. -they will not give you all your pkgs so be sure you know how many you are to receive. This way you can question while you are there. Can’t tell you how many times we have to go back. -if your pkg says delivered, it’s best to give them 3 days after or they will just give you the run a round about the trk and they have to process. THEY SCAN THE PKG, that’s it. I get ppl have bad days, we all do, but this happens every time we go. I wrote a contact us with a picture of the line and failure to give all pkgs, to date have heard nothing and still have the same issues. It appears we are not the only ones because as you wait in line ppl talk and have the same issues. By far the most mismanaged and unorganized business. If you have to mail a pkg go to UPS Store. In most case they are price competitive especially under 2lbs. Do online and they will print and get the pkg ready for you. NICE EMPLOYEES AND NO WAIT. Just do online first.

  PÉSIMO SERVICIO / very BAD-BAD customer service. Only one employee at the register and more than fifty people waiting in line. They don’t care about the customers!!!

  SIEMPRE hay fila larga de espera, siempre hay 1 persona o cuando mucho 2 atendiendo, ellos son muy amables, pero no se dan a basto, urge que contraten más personal
