Great store with lots of helpful services available up front. I came on a Saturday morning and sadly they only had 2 employees running the entire store. This resulted in frustrated customers leaving without being helped and a long wait for checkout and related services. The folks who were staffed were super helpful, however I think management needs to step up and get some more employees!

So in California at least Staples is down to three people per shift. That includes the people doing The copying printing section and they've also merged with party City so the stores are starting to look like dollar stores on a bad day.

Do not come here for TSA PreCheck services. The TSA representative was unfamiliar with valid official documents and handled the situation in an unprofessional manner. Colorado is one of the few states that legally allows self-solemnized marriages, yet the employee immediately dismissed my official marriage certificate solely because the officiant section stated “SELF.” The document clearly contained an official county clerk signature, official seal, license number, issue and return dates, and all other indicators of a valid government-issued marriage certificate. In addition, I provided multiple supporting documents linking my identity and name, but none of them were reasonably considered. Instead of using professionalism, discretion, and basic document knowledge, the employee acted dismissive and unwilling to look beyond one line on the form. I wasted nearly three hours because this employee lacked proper training or refused to apply reasonable judgment when reviewing supporting documentation. If you need TSA PreCheck services, I would strongly recommend going somewhere with better-trained TSA staff and more professional customer service.
