I’ve been going to this UPS Store for a while now, and while the service has never been particularly friendly, today’s experience was frustrating enough that I will not be returning.
First and most telling thing: While the staff was still actively helping customers near closing time, the owner/manager left early before the store had even finished closing. A good leader never leaves before his team. Unfortunately, that felt pretty reflective of the overall customer service experience at this location.
I came in to drop off a package and pick up one addressed to me. I didn’t have my physical ID on me because I was out on a walk, but I had multiple forms of verification ready, including the delivery confirmation email, a virtual ID through Apple Wallet, a photo of my ID, a photo of my passport and additional personal information. The email and text confirmation from the vendor and I was also happy to sign for the package.
Instead of trying to help or work through the situation professionally, the manager was dismissive and rude from the start. I ended up having to walk nearly two miles back home just to grab my physical ID, only for them to glance at it for literally a second!! before handing me the package. The entire thing felt like an unnecessary waste of a customer’s time with zero care for the experience.
I understand policies exist, but professionalism and basic customer service still matter. This experience completely turned me off from ever returning to this location. I’ll gladly go out of my way to use other UPS stores instead especially the Hillcrest location, where the staff has consistently been much kinder and more helpful.
I use this store often as it’s in my neighborhood for shipping as well as printing and copies. Great team, including Laura that are always concerned about and do a great job of taking care of their customers.
Great store with helpful friendly staff. Razul and Maxwell we LRE both super helpful with a very large scanning job I needed to do. Would highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this UPS Store.
I came in needing help printing and faxing important tax documents. I was upfront that I did not know how to use the equipment and politely asked for assistance. Instead of helping, the employee was dismissive and told me to do it myself. When I explained again that I needed help, the attitude became increasingly unprofessional and unwelcoming.
The situation escalated to the point where I was told to go to another location, and then I was threatened with having the police called on me if I didn’t leave. This was extremely shocking and unnecessary, especially considering I remained calm the entire time and was simply trying to send tax paperwork. I even had my children waiting in the car, and being treated like that in front of a situation like this felt completely inappropriate and unfair.
I understand that employees can be busy, but there is no excuse for treating customers this way. Not everyone knows how to use self-service machines, and asking for help should not result in being dismissed or threatened.
Because of this experience, I would not recommend this location to anyone who needs assistance with printing or faxing. Management should seriously look into how customers are being treated here, because this kind of behavior reflects poorly on the business and drives people away.
