  Buyer/Leaser BEWARE!!!!!!! We have been stuck in a horrible lease with Konica Minolta for nearly 5 years. We leased a BizHub and some sort of "magical scanner" that has never worked (it certainly never did what the salesperson promised it would do either). We have complained and tried to return the scanner and their shady financing company does not allow contacts to be cancelled no matter the reason. In California (where we conduct business) there is a no pre-payment penalty law, their finance company is in Florida where there is no such law. If we had paid our lease early, we would still be held responsible for all of the interest payments. Especially frustrating for a piece of faulty equipment we have not been able to use. Due to the recent COVID Pandemic, our company is forced o move into a smaller, more affordable office. We contacted KMBS and their financing company to inform them we would be paying the rest of our lease fees and the equipment would need to be removed by our move-out date. The financing company told us that we were "not allowed" to buy out the remaining lease until 150 days before the lease ends. This date is 3 months after we move into the smaller office (too small to accommodate the BizHub). Konica Minolta and their financing company is deceptive and their business practices are deplorable. Customer Service is non-existent and we go through service representatives constantly (they can't keep them).
