07.22.26 Confirmed CU received Certified Mail documents, but this non-scanning and non-notification to customer which customer paid for that service is totally unacceptable and laziness by the postal carrier.
06.26.26 Mailed Notarized documents via Certified Mail from SJ USPS.
06.27.26 Arrived in delivery city of Sacramento.
07.06.26 Certified Mail STILL hasn't been scanned as delivered. Went to USPS SJ, where the non-clairvoyant supervisor mused, "sometimes the delivery drivers miss scanning letters and parcels but it's likely to have been delivered, call the credit union to see if they received the documents". What??? Then what is the point of paying for certified mailed with electronic return receipt? Ridiculous and useless. Do your JOBS USPS or work elsewhere where you don't have to worry about responsibilities OR liabilities. Sacramento USPS gets an F.

I’ve been using this post office for several years now. Every time I go, there’s that one lady there who treats everyone like a problem. Just being in her sight will ruin your day because of the nasty looks she gives you. Not only that, the first times I needed to mail stuff, I made mistakes and she’d have the nastiest attitude while solving them. I get that it’s a pain having to stand all day mailing stuff, but that gives no right for someone to treat others like that, especially since it’s her job that she signed up for. Otherwise the long lines and bad staff, it’s a good post office.

PO Box hours are inconsistent and always changes “temporarily”.

I understand that dealing with the general public means some customers will be very difficult to deal with. However, the staff at this location treats EVERYONE, even perfectly normal people like a nuisance. It doesn't matter if you're friendly, polite, or even neutral with the staff, they will find some way to let you know they think you're the scum of the Earth for walking through that door. Especially the woman at the front desk. I avoid going to the front desk at all costs because while I need the postal service, I hate receiving service from someone who clearly hates their job and their customers. USPS is a huge company so I know they don't need to care if their Google rating is low or if staff is rude as long as they do their job, so just mentally prepare yourself to be talked down to and glared at if you must speak with anyone here.

My visit to the Post Office went better than expected. Even though there were a few people ahead of me, the line moved steadily. The clerk helped me tape my package properly and made sure everything was ready before sending it. Overall a very easy experience.
