  People Ready Scam Beware this location holds the Manheim auto auction contract They don’t care about you or your best interest interests and your ability to gainfully employ yourself to pay for your life expenses. They are only motivated to protect their Manheim auto auction account. After a brief conversation with the location, May 21, 2026, here’s what I can tell you Number one you must go in on site for an orientation before you can qualify to apply for the Mannheim auto auction driving opportunities. Only at that point will they consider sending you out for a drug test and a background check. Here is where the scam really gets sick follow along and pay close attention. They are considering this a long-term engagement. Despite the fact that it is only two days a week with typical four hour shifts and an occasional eight hour shift. You will only be considered if you can commit to the long-term engagement. After you have accepted the temporary work and completed the background check and then dispatched to the location YOU ARE LOCKED IN. this is a significant and important fact pay close attention. If you do this for one shift or three weeks and one of the hundred jobs you have applied for brings you in for an interview and decides to hire you full-time. You will be blacklisted from people ready and their application job stack for all future employment They will deem your decision to take a job that could adequately provide you enough hours to support yourself in the state of California as job abandonment Now, I am personally angry about this, not because I worked for them and found this out after quitting, but because many of you will take this and not understand these full ramifications. This is not an employment opportunity This is a scam . Anything that has more risk and more downside for you and even has a punishment like being blacklisted from the whole company is a scam and anybody that has been penalized by this should file a complaint with the state of California. Telling somebody that after they take a temporary job that has been fraudulently labeled as a long-term engagement that provides less than part-time work in a week that if they leave that engagement at any point, it’s job abandonment this is fraud and manipulation. Steer clear of this office Just to make sure I clearly understood what I was told. I repeated it back multiple times. You could see in the screenshot with the location’s phone number that I am not making this up. How anybody in good faith could ever operate an agreement like this for a temp agency has me lost for words. I explained I wasn’t complaining. I was asking all of the necessary questions to completely understand all of variables and risk.
