  I had caught a county record of a property claim and notified them on the 30th day of escrow of litigation , seems like bad faith all around i hope they treat other people better than the response i got

  We have bought and sold many properties these past 20 plus years. I have never encountered an escrow officer as efficient, capable and competent as Michelle Polk. I have been so impressed with her these past several years with numerous transactions. This latest escrow, she went above and beyond to assist with a very tricky loan encumbrance issue, which she resolved much faster than I ever imagined! Thank you Michelle! --Karen

  I have been a real estate broker since 1998. I have used Marie Peraza as my escrow officer for the last several deals. Marie is very conscientious, knowledgeable, skilled, and as importantly, an excellent communicator. If she doesn't know the answer, she finds it quickly. If there is a challenge, she goes above and beyond to find a solution. She calls (somewhat unusual these days) and gives thorough explanations of any issues and how they can be resolved. She has emailed after hours and on weekends, which is not expected, but much appreciated. Daynia Castellanos assists Marie and is excellent also. I have been using Danny Gutierrez as the First American Title Rep for a few years now, and you can take what I just stated about Marie, and copy it for him. I was so impressed with Danny and his service that I accepted his recommendation to use Marie for escrow, and I have been nothing but perfectly happy that I did. I have been surprised many times by this team - and all of the surprises have been pleasant ones. It's nice, too, that First American gives a discount when bundling title and escrow, which gives my clients a little more money in their pocket when the transaction is over. Thank you First American, that you have Marie, Daynia and Danny on your/our team.

  First American Title came through on a critical point during my loan refinance, I had a setback with termite inspection and FAT took care of the termite eradication and repairs while waiting for the loan to finalize which was a huge relief during a stressful loan process!
