This location is filled with the most entitled obnoxious waste of space on this planet people I have ever encountered. They can’t provide any information, any assistance whatsoever. I was sent on a wild goose chase to find a package, they refused to check if I was even at the correct location. Instead opted to scream at me for asking.

Went to pick up a package that was not delivered. There was no line, took them 30 min to come to the door.

Terrible experience. The lady that assist with passports is very rude and not helpful. The supervisor also allows her staff to speak disrespectfully to customers. Go somewhere else!

    * Disappointing and Frustrating Experience at USPS Rancho Santa Margarita – Passport Application Service * I recently visited the USPS office in Rancho Santa Margarita to apply for my son's passport, and the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite arriving early on a rainy day, I faced significant delays due to the clerk’s tardiness. This caused unnecessary stress and jeopardized my ability to pick up my other children from school on time. The clerk’s behavior was particularly troubling. They acted with an air of entitlement and absolute power, dismissing my rightful expectation to be served at the time scheduled through the USPS site portal. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the clerk’s decision to take a lunch break during my appointment, their response was one of surprise and defensiveness. It felt as though the clerk believed that the US Government’s authority would back her and dismiss my valid concerns. This reflected a misunderstanding of what the US Government represents—a service to the public, not a tool to suppress or ignore legitimate criticism. In contrast, my previous experiences with USPS passport services, including those for my other children at the USPS office in Irvine, were exemplary. At that location, the clerks were friendly, punctual, and highly professional, efficiently resolving any issues, such as accommodating a payment method change. My family and I felt genuinely supported and valued, highlighting the significant disparity between the two locations. The experience at USPS Rancho Santa Margarita reflects poorly on the agency’s service standards and demonstrates a need for improvement. I urge USPS headquarters to address these issues to ensure better customer service and accountability in the future.

Hours suck. How am I supposed to pick up my package, which requires a signature when I work full time and can't come down on a Saturday?
