- CCchris clarkJul 22, 20261.0This is the worst post office branch I have ever had to deal with. I have received mail my entire life (50+ years) with no problems ever. I moved to Portola 3 years ago, had to get a P.O. Box because my address is a mile or so out of the town proper, and have had nothing but problems getting my mail. I've been locked out of my mail box 4 or 5 times. Why can't we just get our mail delivered to our house like everywhere else. I know it makes it easier for the Post Office to just put the mail in a slot in one central location, so why do I have to pay $ like it's some special privilege to have a postal box in town.
