  This whole establishment needs to learn what good costumer service is. You shouldn’t accept Amazon packages if you’re gonna let the line go through the whole store and only prioritize shopping costumers. Ned is not a nice person and sees the line long and leaves the checkout when there is 10 people in the Amazon drop off line.

  I visited the store to return an Amazon package and waited in the designated Amazon return line for approximately 30 minutes. During that entire time, the return line barely moved while every customer who entered the purchase line was consistently served before those of us waiting to make returns. As both the purchase and return lines continued to grow, I asked the cashier if additional assistance could be called because it was clear that one employee could not keep up with the volume of customers. She informed me that she was the only employee available. While I understand that staffing shortages can happen and I appreciate that she was doing the best she could under the circumstances, the current system is clearly inefficient and unfair. After waiting for 30 minutes with no meaningful progress in the return line, I ultimately had no choice but to leave the store without even being able to return my package. It was extremely frustrating to spend that much time waiting only to walk away without accomplishing the reason I came to the store. Customers who have already been waiting in the Amazon return line should not continually lose priority to newly arriving customers in the purchase line. The current process results in excessive wait times for returns and creates a poor customer experience. I encourage Staples to review how this location manages checkout and Amazon returns. Whether that means scheduling additional staff during busy periods, providing dedicated coverage for Amazon returns when possible, or implementing a fairer queue management system, the current process is not working.

  Someone in a line of 7 Amazon returns asked about why the line was not moving. Leadership stated out load that Amazon returns will wait for a long time, not important to them. Their customers are the priority. After stating this, he and another cashier become very busy behind the counter doing other things other than tending to the return line leaving only 1 cashier open. I understand to some degree customers are a priority but you accepted to be an Amazon returns spot, there is a way to make both lines work and I’m sure you are being compensated in some way or why would you do it? I know when I drop something off there I usually need something that I pick up in the store, therefore they get sales. I will purchase/do returns from another staples store other than the Orange at Meats store.

  The service was okay however they failed to give me all the stuff I did print out and so I had to come back the next day, however I arrived 3 minutes after they closed not knowing that they closed early on Sunday so after speaking with an employee about how I’m just picking something up that you guys failed to give me the first time and if he could just hand it to me at the door when he opened the closed door for a customer inside to leave, he said no I would have to come back tomorrow even tho all he had to do was hand me what was already printed and give it to me but instead I to take the buss for a hour there and back a 3rd time
