The post office lobby closes at 6:00, so when I got there at 5:58, the employee was standing in the doorway arguing with another couple instead of just letting them drop off their package. They literally spent two minutes begging him to let them use the drop box before he finally gave in. Then, as I walked up, he started shutting the door and told me they were closed. The frustrating part is that if he hadn’t spent those two minutes arguing, I would’ve had plenty of time to scan my package at the kiosk and drop it in the box before 6:00. There were several of us there before closing, and it takes maybe 15 seconds to walk from the front door to the drop box and back out again. I swear this USPS is always like this. The staff are almost always rude, except for the woman who opens in the morning. She’s super nice and has even opened the doors a few minutes early before. Everyone else acts like letting people drop off prepaid packages is some massive inconvenience.

Staff were extra understanding right at closing time, given the need to ship mail that was due day. Then, after hours, the machine outside was very helpful in making it possible to make additional mail processing, with many options that met our particular delivery needs, including the option to email plus print a detailed receipt.

terrible customer service. all workers are rude and judgmental, except for maybe like one and he looks like he hates his job the most. with a 2.9 star rating and several negative reviews, how do these people still have this job?

Very poor customer service. No social skills. Failed delivery attempts, says they'll try again but they never do. Not sure how people stay employed

i would give 0 stars if i could. i live in an apartment complex and almost constantly is the mail man that has our route put our mail in the wrong mailbox. we constantly have to play detective just to find our mail. i’ve had important stuff put in other people’s mailboxes and never end up receiving it because people just keep it. the mail man on my route needs to be fired. we have reported him 5 times with no change, filled out slips, you name it i’ve done it and he’s still putting our mail in other people’s boxes. it’s terrible that i have to worry about receiving my belongings or not and usps could care less about it. something needs to be done.
