I cannot say enough great things about Adrian and Teresa at this Staples location! I came in with several heavy Amazon return items and they went completely above and beyond to help me. The two of them worked together as a true team, carefully packaging everything with patience and professionalism that is rare to find these days.
From start to finish, they were dedicated to making sure my experience was smooth and stress-free. They never made me feel like a burden — even with bulky, heavy items — and handled everything with such care and positivity.
Adrian and Teresa are a true asset to this store and a reflection of what outstanding customer service looks like. Their manager should be incredibly proud to have them on the team. I will absolutely be returning to this Staples location because of them. Thank you both so much! 🙏

EXTREMELY unprofessional and lazy customer service. I came with multiple returns before the store was closing. Even as I make this post, the store remains open. Yet, an extremely rude cashier with glasses and black hair refused to accommodate my returns and said she doesn’t work on my time. Horrible store, horrible employees, and a waste of your time. This employee has an attitude issue and clearly no desire to help anyone. I’m appalled.

I went in for a TSA appointment today and the store associate was very very rude. Please don’t show your frustrations on the customers.
Staples - you should coach your associates on how to treat customers, the least they can do is be nice!!!

I had such a bad experience in the Staples Menlo Park store. I took in three 7 x 13 inch copies that I wanted to have enlarged to 13 x 30 inches. There was only one person in the custom printing dept. He wanted to charge me $72. He said it would be cheaper in grayscale. I had to drive 10 miles home, copy my copies in grayscale and drive back to the store. I was second in line and when it was my turn, the guy took a person who was picking up an order before me which pissed me off. Then, he asks when I want to pick up my copies. I said, "I will wait." He said "well, I don't know when they will be done. That could take a while." (There was one person to wait on after me and NO ONE ELSE IN THE STORE!!!) Staples, hire more people and train your current personnel in customer service. The people in there just don't care! I went to Fedex and enlarged and printed them out myself. Took 15 minutes.

I made a print order of 4 things online and opted for express printing (paid extra). The website glitched on the last item and wasn't allowing me to pay for express (less than $2), but since it was tied to my bulk order where everything else was more complicated and this one was the simplest, cheapest thing, I thought they could just tack it on. Literally just black and white regular printing. I called and they confirmed that they haven't done it yet and can't print it for me with my other items which were done hours ago. Pretty much said it would be done by 8:30pm when everything else was done at 9am.
I called customer service and they said they usually should just do the job real quick if it's all a part of the same order. And that they don't understand why the store is being such a stickler about it. The thing is I WOULD have just paid the stupid $2 but the website as glitching. I would even be willing to pay for it in person. But they kept saying nothing could be done. I'm not going to drive an hour twice out of my way to pick up 2 separate orders. Once again, this was the cheapest most basic order.
When I went to go pick up the rest of my order, NOTHING was being printed. All their machines were chilling. No one was even manning them. So tell me why couldn't they have done my last order which would have taken less than a minute??
