  Remember this Cashier #3033581; he was so rude! We bought a Swiss Gear Patriot office bag with wheels. Since it has a security lock, we asked him if we could check inside before buying. He took it off the security alarm, and while we were inspecting it, he was asking us to pay immediately! Hello, we are buying a $250.00 office bag! At least give us a moment to inspect! Very rude cashier.

  8/10/26 - Update, i just visited the store again out of necessity. I needed five balloons filled at party's city service desk. I was turned away because it was near closing time which was fine. After about ten minutes, I found the necessary items to be able to fill my balloons. But what was shocking is another customer had walked in with now, ten minutes after i was just told no because of being closing time. The same representative, who couldn't fill my five balloons filled over twenty balloons for these customers arriving later. Do yourself a favor, do not visit this store they are very mismanaged and apparently lying in order to increase last minute sales to their liking. Longest line I have ever experienced returning a small package. Well over 35 minutes. I do not recommend using there return services here unless you can commit 35-45 minutes of your day. There are many other options available and more efficient.

  I placed an order drove all the way there. Then as soon as I pulled in the carport they said that it was canceled. So I replaced the order drove back all the way 40 minutes and then they had it but prior to that they didn't have it

  Went in to purchase some balloons for a birthday today. There is no clear direction about having to pay for the balloons first but that’s not so much the issue. I selected my balloons and paid. The young man came to blow them up for me. He hands me back my large, decorative balloon and says I need to blow it up myself with air. I give my balloon to my husband who opens it and reads the instructions state to use helium and exactly the manner how to do so. The young man was flustered but said he would go ahead and do it as he was already inflating the other 6 balloons I had purchased. My husband noticed the young man was inflating the decorative ballon incorrectly and it was near bursting. He explained what the instructions said so the young man said he would fix it. A few customers entered the line to make their purchases and the young man radioed for backup to the register. No one came so in the middle of inflating my already paid for balloons he hands me the decorative balloon that was blown up incorrectly and asks me to hold it so he can ring up the other customers and he will be back. What could have taken 5-10 minutes took almost half an hour. When this young man asked his team for backup not one person radioed him back with a response, I know because you can hear the walkie talkie. When this young man left me standing there holding my wrongly inflated balloon there were two female workers working in the print department on the computers facing me watching this happen. I may not know the dynamics of the work environment at staples and perhaps assisting ringing up customers is not in the description of the ladies working in the print department but where is your store manager? If a manager is listening to staff ask for help they should intervene themselves. This review should not reflect on the young man who WAS working and attempting to help customers. Whether I experienced an issue with the ballon was not what made this an adverse experience, rather observing other workers watch their teammate struggle and sit idly. Those girls need to be the ones to inflate the balloon orders for one entire weekend shift so they know what it entails and how stressful it is to need assistance and your teammates let you drown.

  Lack of service, lack of clear directions. When you enter the building, you don't know where to go to get help or to find anything in the store. There's no one asking you if you need help, or were you able to find what you were looking for today? How can we help you? There's no clearer signs of direction pointing you, I was just there to drop off a package, and I thought I would do some shopping while I was there because it's back to school. It took me a while to figure out where I go to drop off the package, and the person was very cold. And rude, and then I went to go find some things to buy, and there was no help. So I left, I'm not going to buy anything there. I will never return to Staples again. I'll go to target or Walmart.
