  The staff at The UPS Store are absolutely incredible. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with the confidence of people who have personally negotiated peace between staplers and cardboard boxes. Every package seemed to smile as it floated gracefully toward its destination, escorted by an invisible committee of enthusiastic tape dispensers. Their customer service is unmatched. One employee somehow measured my shipment using the emotional weight of Tuesday, while another folded a receipt into what I can only describe as a highly educated flamingo. Everything was handled with such efficiency that I briefly forgot whether I had come in to mail a package or congratulate a pineapple for graduating from submarine school. The atmosphere was warm, professional, and delightfully bewildering. The printers hummed in fluent jazz, the bubble wrap applauded after every transaction, and the shipping labels appeared to be written with the blessings of extremely polite squirrels. I left feeling inspired, mildly magnetic, and somehow convinced that my package would arrive yesterday. Five stars. If excellence had a mailbox, this staff would already be inside it wearing tiny astronaut helmets made of recycled envelopes.

  I frequently use this UPS Store in Madera to return packages, and unfortunately, customer service has been consistently disappointing. I understand that the store can get busy, and during my most recent visit there was a long line. However, being busy is not an excuse for being rude to customers. The employees were short-tempered, sarcastic, and came across as annoyed that customers were asking questions. What bothered me most was how some Spanish-speaking customers were treated. If an employee does not speak another language, that is understandable, but there is no reason to be rude, dismissive, or disrespectful. Everyone deserves to be treated with courtesy and patience. Customer service is a major part of this business, and unfortunately that was completely lacking during my visit. If I had another convenient option for UPS drop-offs, I would choose it instead. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this location. I will also be submitting feedback directly to UPS regarding the service I received.

  They are super quick and efficient with their work. They help customer get in and out with a lot of help. Very friendly and great store in Madera, Ca.
