I visited the United States Postal Service and had a smooth experience handling my mailing and shipping needs. The facility was organized, and the process of sending packages and purchasing postal supplies was straightforward and efficient. The staff were professional and helpful, assisting customers with shipping options, tracking information, and mailing services. Despite a steady flow of visitors, the lines moved at a reasonable pace, and employees worked hard to keep everything running smoothly. I appreciated the variety of services available, including package shipping, certified mail, PO boxes, passport services at select locations, and access to mailing supplies. The self-service kiosks also helped speed up the process for routine transactions. Overall, USPS remains a reliable option for mailing letters, shipping packages, and accessing essential postal services. The combination of nationwide coverage, convenient locations, and affordable shipping options makes it a valuable service for both personal and business needs.

Terminal Annex was the central mail processing facility for Los Angeles from 1940 to 1989. The Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival building, which was designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The building was built for the purpose of processing all incoming and outgoing mail in Los Angeles. Underwood sought to keep the building's design in keeping with Union Station. The original building was a three-story structure with two towers and 400,000 square feet of floor space. The lobby includes 12 WPA murals painted by Boris Deutsch during 1941 to 1944 entitled “The Cultural Contributions of North, South and Central America”.

The post office looks pretty great. It’s clean inside and the surrounding is safe enough during daytime. It’s also the closest best place you would have near downtown and Chinatown. However, they ran out of priority express mail and priority mail stamps. The shop assistant explained well about how that works to me. I hope they restock the stamps.

Great post office. Theres a gated entrance so if theres no guard you have to press the call button. A-Okay with me. A/C is pumping. Packaged are moving. Sometimes you have to wait, AND THATS ONLY BECAUSE YOUR FELLOW NEIGHBOR OR RIFF RAFF HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY NEED (BOX, PACKAGE, HOW TO SHIP, TAPE Etc.) Do you go to a grocery store and ask if you need food? Well are you hungry? It’s not the employees fault the USPS limits how many are on staff at a time.
