Terrible service. We just needed to get an in person identity verification for a address forwarding service and he ended up telling us we need to go to the DMV…? Went to the one on Western and they did it in 2 minutes without a problem.

I visited this USPS location shortly before closing time and was disappointed. Although the official posted hours state the office closes at 5:30 PM, customers were being turned away around 5 PM by a USPS female worker who was standing at the door to let customer out of the facility. Upon asking her the closing time she responded with an attitude we close at 5pm today and she shut the door. There’s was many customers on the door who had to pay bills or send important mail. I understand USPS short on workers, but customers should still be able to access services during official business hours. Many people rely on USPS for important responsibilities such as paying bills, sending rent payments, and handling time-sensitive mail. supervisors may want to review the closing process to ensure customers are not denied service before the posted closing time. Better consistency and communication would greatly improve the customer experience.

This has to be the worst post office I’ve ever went to and I frequent post offices often. I went there several times and they close 10 to 20 minutes before the actual closing time. Any other post office I’ve went to has never done this before. One time I went there and they close the door on my face stating that somebody got sick an employer or something and they had to shut the whole post office down, which is not normal. It would be understandable if it didn’t happen like most days but what’s the excuse now. Is somebody getting sick every Day. Even then, aren’t you just supposed to send the person home instead of shutting the whole post office down. being that it is a government entity you think they do better than that specially with closing early and some people are trying to make it to the post office before it closes and unfortunately, this is the closest one near me. I hope that a supervisor of somebody who actually has say so of this post office above whoever is approving this monitors closely I mean, obviously everyone is agreeing or you know, saying they’re gonna go home early, but if your post office closes at 5:30 it should be open until 530 or change your hours.

Incompetent mix-up! Train your staff better! I stopped by my local USPS with a stack of 5x7 letter envelopes containing very important milestone announcements for family. The first clerk glanced at them, grabbed a sheet of stamps, and said, “You’re set—just drop them off.” The stamps looked cute but it looked off from a normal Forever stamp but hey I’m no expert. I went to a second window to double-check. That employee examined the envelopes and immediately I needed additional postage on each one. She corrected the issue, but couldn’t explain why the first clerk had given me the wrong stamps or why no one had checked the envelopes properly upfront. I kept asking and she said “I don’t have time for this I have a long line”. I said “ you should tell your coworker then that she gave me wrong instructions”. If I had followed the original instructions and dropped them off as-is, my recipients would likely have received “postage due” notices or the cards would have been returned to me. Not the way you want important family news to arrive! Staff should know the basics! Postcard stamps versus letter postage and when something needs extra handling. One clerk fixed it, but the initial confusion wasted time and created unnecessary risk.
