Today I visited this post office because it opens earlier than my usual location, and I was on a tight schedule. I am a frequent USPS customer and spend tens of thousands of dollars each year on postal services for my business, so I have interacted with many postal employees over the years. When I arrived a few minutes before service began, I waited patiently. There was an employee at the counter, an African American woman with cornrows pulled straight back and glasses. I am including this description only so management can identify the employee involved. After the post office had opened, she remained seated at the counter looking at her computer screen without acknowledging or assisting any of the customers waiting in line. Eventually, I approached the counter, and before I could say much, she yelled, “I am not open yet,” in a very rude and unprofessional tone. I immediately apologized and politely asked, “I’m sorry. What time do you open?” She responded, “You can just wait. The computer is having an issue,” then turned away and went back to staring at the screen without any further explanation or attempt to help. Her attitude was so discourteous that several customers waiting behind me looked at one another in disbelief. It was clear I was not the only person who found the interaction inappropriate. I ultimately decided to leave and drive to my usual post office rather than continue the interaction. I manage a global customer-facing organization, and I understand that technical issues happen. What is not acceptable is treating customers with disrespect. A simple acknowledgment such as, “Good morning, we’re experiencing a computer issue. Thank you for your patience,” would have completely changed the experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Every customer deserves to be treated with professionalism and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances.

Why they don’t have a printer in this place? Also why can’t they simply convert one type of label to another one in 2026?

This location has short lines and great staff! A hidden USPS gem in LA. Thank you!

DO NOT put your packages in the blue bin. Wait for a rep to scan it and give you a receipt. They will get lost if you do. This post office does not scan these packages. They throw them in a truck and wait to scan them at the sorting center. So if they lose them it’s on you. This might be the worst post office in LA. They WILL lose your package.

Trash. Ever since I moved a few block away every single one of my usps packages arrived obviously opened and sometimes even taped up. The only thing that has changed is the office sending it out. Never had this problem before. Someone in this location has unsupervised access to our packages. So much that they are even able to try and tape the package back up. This isn’t a one off. Literally any mail I get from usps if it’s in anything larger than an envelope arrives opened. Pleaae clean house and get a new staff…
