Absolute worst location I’ve been to. Tried multiple times now to stop in and they’re never open until the posted time. Always closed early. Sign on door now saying that no pre-paid packages can be dropped off. What? Since when can I not drop off USPS packages to the post office… poorly managed. Don’t waste your time

A Big African American Woman with glasses working behind the counter was nothing, but rude. They need to train them better.

I am submitting a complaint regarding my experience at the USPS office on June 24, 2026, at approximately 11:15 AM. I visited the post office to obtain Certificates of Mailing for several pieces of mail. I had already completed the necessary forms and asked the clerk for guidance on the proper process. The clerk instructed me to provide the forms and envelopes separately. After beginning the transaction, the clerk stated multiple times that she did not know how to process the Certificates of Mailing and appeared unfamiliar with the procedure. During the transaction, I was attempting to determine how many stamps were needed after it became apparent that postage was required. Although there were no customers ahead of me when I arrived and only one customer waiting behind me, the clerk repeatedly told me to move aside and appeared to rush me through the transaction. When I asked for the clerk’s name so I could document the interaction, she refused to provide it and identified herself only as “Clerk Gate.” I then asked whether there was a supervisor or another employee available to assist, but no one was made available. During this interaction, my coffee spilled, and when I attempted to explain the situation, the clerk interrupted me and stated that she was not trying to get loud with me but that I needed to move. I found the interaction dismissive and unprofessional. After leaving the post office, I discovered that six of my letters had not been returned to me and had been retained by the clerk. As a result, I had to return to the post office approximately 20 minutes later to retrieve them. Given the confusion during the transaction and the fact that the clerk repeatedly stated she did not know how to process the service, I was concerned about the handling of my mail. I understand that employees may occasionally need assistance with less common services. However, I was concerned by the lack of knowledge regarding the requested service, the refusal to provide her name, the manner in which I was treated, and the mishandling of my mail that required me to make a second trip to the post office. I would appreciate a review of this incident and any appropriate follow-up.

Just stoped by today to drop mail off, and a black African woman working at the front desk was VERY RUDE and had an ATTITUDE. I asked her a simple question nicely and she responded so RUDELY. Why are these kind of people working at a postal service office if customers are going to be receiving this kind of attitude and disrespect. That’s not fair at all.
