There is a extremely rude women working there. I was just trying to get a shipping label and she made it extremely difficult by talking over me and not letting me properly explain what I needed help with. On top of that she was rushing me the whole time which I would understand if there's a long line but I was the only one in the post office at that time. I really hope someone can investigate this person because they are making going to the post office intimidating. The customer service is awful.

Why are they closed so long in the middle of the day during business hours after lunch time?

Wish I could leave less than a one star review. I have gone here a handful of times because it's fairly close to me compared to other USPS locations Everytime they are rude, dismissive, roll their eyes, snap their tongues, or just ignore you. The tones they have are very bored from the start. Based of reviews, this clearly happens way too much. I don't even understand how this place is still here. I do NOT recommend this place at all. The energy is terrible and there is no reason for you to walk in and receive this treatment during your day. Do not ruin it by coming here.

TERRIBLE NEVER GO HERE. Went to the United States Postal Service location at Fig & 51st on May 29th around 11AM just to drop off a prepaid package, and the experience was terrible. The woman working there was rude and dismissive from the beginning. I asked for a receipt after dropping off my already labeled package and she told me they “don’t give receipts there.” When I mentioned other USPS locations do, she responded with attitude and told me to “go back there then.” What made it worse was she refused to even scan my package or place it somewhere secure. She told me to leave it in a clear box near the front. I politely asked if she could scan it and place it in the back so it wouldn’t get taken, and she refused saying, “No one will take your package.” Completely unprofessional customer service and a very uncomfortable experience for something that should’ve taken less than a minute. After looking online, it seems many other people have had similar issues at this location. USPS seriously needs to address the customer service here.
