The ladies here seem so miserable. Chris Wilson, the manager - what’s going on in there? It was always so empty and now that Amazon requires us to go there it’s packed w many workers w terrible attitudes having to take in Amazon returns. Some are awesome, but it’s mostly an unpleasant experience coming here.
Amazon returns keep going missing. They sent an empty box to Amazon and I was charged again for something I didn't have. Then, I returned 4 items, asked for a receipt, was told they would be emailed. One receipt missing and Amazon telling me my refund will be issued once my return is received by staples. Again, it already has been! Get it together!

First time using Staples printing services, which was a whole ordeal. What stood out the most to me was the customer service. There was an elderly lady trying to use the printer. She didn’t understand what to do, was visibly stressed out trying to make copies. There was an employee behind the counter helping someone, she asked another employee to help out with the line. He asked the elderly lady if she needed help. She said “I don’t know how to use this, can you help me?” Employee says “This is self serve, just follow the prompts.” She says “I’m paying for the prints can you help me, I still don’t get it.” Employee again states this is self serve follow he prompts, look at the screen.
Why ask her if she needed help?
Employee turns around and asks if I need help. I said no, let me help out this lady while I’m waiting for the other employee to help me. I walk over to the lady and ask her if I can help her figure this out. It took me less than 5 minutes. She hugged me and said thank you for making a difference in my day. She should’ve walked out of that store saying, that was easy, because an employee helped out, not another customer that was already having issues with their service and product was willing to be helpful.

I recently visited Staples to complete several Amazon returns and had a disappointing experience with an associate named Drea.
One of my returns was a heavy box, and I politely asked if an additional piece of tape could be placed on it because I was concerned about items falling out during handling. Her tone immediately changed, and she responded, "Well, we're not mailing it like this. We are putting it in a bigger box." I explained that I understood, but because the box was heavy, I was concerned about receiving a notice that items were missing. My concern seemed to be dismissed, and the box was simply set aside.
After completing my returns, I asked for a receipt. In the past, Staples receipts often included coupons or promotions, and I was considering purchasing a laminator, paper, and ink. Drea responded that everything was digital now and that I could find it in my Amazon app. Again, it wasn't the answer itself that bothered me, it was the tone and overall interaction. I decided not to purchase anything and walked out of the store.
As I was leaving the store, another customer commented that they had also experienced a rude interaction with the same associate. When I returned to ask for her name, I observed employees appearing to discuss the situation. When I asked for her name, she responded, "My name is Drea, why?" and then began explaining her actions. At that point, I simply thanked her and left.
What makes this experience stand out is that it is completely different from what I have come to expect from Staples. I am a local customer and shop at this location regularly. Over the years, I have consistently received friendly and helpful service, which is why this interaction was so surprising.
I truly hope this was a one-time situation and not reflective of the customer service culture at this store. We all have challenging days, and everyone can benefit from coaching or feedback from time to time. My hope in sharing this experience is not to get anyone in trouble, but to encourage a reminder that customers should be treated with courtesy, patience, and respect.
I may not return to Staples tomorrow or next week, but I will continue shopping at Staples because my experiences there have generally been positive, but this interaction left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed.

I have used the Staples in Lodi for blueprint/plan printing, and I have been very happy with their service. Uploading the plans online was easy, payment was simple, and I received a confirmation number right away.
When I called the Lodi location, the staff was always very helpful and knew exactly what they were doing. My plans are usually ready for pickup within just a couple of hours, which is extremely helpful when working with construction timelines.
Excellent service, easy process, and very reliable. I would definitely recommend this Staples location for blueprint printing or similar print jobs. Very happy with the service!
