- NNNaomiJun 14, 20261.0Post office employees are trained to be able to tell from any APO AP/FPO/DPO address on the mail/package, that yes it is an overseas location, but charging for international priority is not the right way to ship and label mail going to an APO AP/FPO/DPO address. The actual country should not be on the receipt you give to the sender, the address should state APO AP address to ensure mail specifically goes through military mail processing. My tracker states the country I am in and not the APO AP address. That was overlooked by this post office employee. This oversight left my family to pay an overpriced shipping of my package due to international priority mail labeling. This may be corrected once my package arrives to the country I am in, if this country’s mail system sees it is an APO AP address and routes it through the military mail processing. I hope my package is not returned or have longer delivery time due to it being labeled incorrectly when my customs form and box states an APO AP address. Post office needs to slow down and advise customers in the correct way.

She personally called us back and was in communication with my son via email. She emailed him as soon as the package was scanned in the next morning and gave him an update of when it would be arriving in Kennedy Meadows. This was an essential package for the next section of his hike and what started out very stressful was made so much better by her. Thank you Genevieve!!!

There is little or no waiting in line. This is a good review. I am happy to have the Inyokern Post Office in my community.
