  This post office has been there for a long time, only gave it 2 stars because it is so on need of a gardener, it almost looks abandoned. Weeds everywhere. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

  I am from out of town in visiting a relative here in Hawthorne California I recently drove into your parking lot to mail a letter, however I found the parking lot disturbing due to the abundant overgrowth of plants and weeds.As I approached the entry door I saw between the glass windows and the writing desk table that was on the inside of the lobby had a lot of trash behind the table and very visible to the public. I do see in the website photograph of your building it also contains very dried overgrown weeds in your parking lot area so I'm thinking this comment will be trashed the same as your parking lot.... I just hope the process you take for my letter will will include my letter will include apostmarked and arrives at its destination. Thank you for providing service but maintenance if your building and property is highly recommended.

  I never write reviews but this is the third time I had to come back to this post office, it seems every time I came the red head lady “ served me” if that’s what you want to call it. She’s rude it seems she doesn’t care about serving the customers

  Worst post office location! And I say this as a retired postal employee who has seen first hand how bad many stations are. But this one takes the cake! The letter carriers are completely incompetent as extremely unprofessional because the supervisors and station manager are lazy and lack leadership skills. Outgoing mail is frequently stolen from the letter carriers. Parcels are stolen and misdelivered.

  Apparently the Postmaster runs this place terribly, unlike the other Postmasters around, because there's usually only 1 person to help the lines going out the door almost everytime I go there, the ATM was broken both times I tried, and the weeds are eating the sidewalk. I feel bad for the lady behind the counter, she should be paid for doing the jobs of four people. The PM must be scraping all the money off the top and telling the staffers there's none for hiring or cleaning the place up. Really pathetic look and feel for USPS, the number of people complaining about the under-service while there causes aggravation that sticks to the palette. I thought all the post offices had minimum standards to go by, apparently not with the clown they left in charge of this one.
