It is a Sony G-Master lens, valued at $2,000, that I purchased for my photography work. I have some photo sessions scheduled for tomorrow and desperately needed that equipment. This is the third time this has happened. The employee who runs the weekend route for Grass Valley and Pearldale does not do their job. Instead of delivering packages to the house or leaving them in the mailbox with the key, they simply leave a "sorry we missed you while you were out" notice. No, I was not out; I was waiting at home, and the employee left the notice in my mailbox, which is located exactly 0.4 miles from my house. Now I do not have the lens I need for my work, and I will have to make time to go to the post office during the week, which is always packed with people waiting in line. It is very frustrating and irritating that the laziness and unprofessionalism of someone who doesn't want to do their job affects others so much. I didn't go out with my family today in order to stay home and wait for the item to sign for it. Since this is not the first time it has happened, please, I need to escalate this situation. Now I have to reschedule my photo sessions, with the risk of getting negative responses from my clients, losing their business, and damaging my reputation.
