- PPPablo ParraAug 1, 20261.0I have spent the entire day at home waiting for a package that was supposed to be delivered today between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. It is a Sony G-Master lens, valued at $2,000, that I purchased for my photography work. I have some photo sessions scheduled for tomorrow and desperately needed that equipment. This is the third time this has happened. The employee who runs the weekend route for Grass Valley and Pearldale does not do their job. Instead of delivering packages to the house or leaving them in the mailbox with the key, they simply leave a "sorry we missed you while you were out" notice. No, I was not out; I was waiting at home, and the employee left the notice in my mailbox, which is located exactly 0.4 miles from my house. Now I do not have the lens I need for my work, and I will have to make time to go to the post office during the week, which is always packed with people waiting in line. It is very frustrating and irritating that the laziness and unprofessionalism of someone who doesn't want to do their job affects others so much. I didn't go out with my family today in order to stay home and wait for the item to sign for it. Since this is not the first time it has happened, please, I need to escalate this situation. Now I have to reschedule my photo sessions, with the risk of getting negative responses from my clients, losing their business, and damaging my reputation.

I travel for work so I often use a PO Box during assignments, and I can assure you this is hands down the worst one. It is always crowded and I don’t always have time to wait 30 mins to simply pick up a package, so I have to make multiple trips back and forth, out of my already busy work day!! It’s also not guaranteed that my packages will even be there when they say they are— they have even LOST packages. How do you lose a package INSIDE a POST OFFICE?!? They have no accountability either they just shrug everything off. I have wasted so much time and energy here, and to think I pay extra for this service??? Lol. It’s honestly ridiculous and they really need to do better .

They stuff your mail in the box haphazardly, and when it doesn’t fit, they’ll leave it in your lawn, your driveway, anywhere other than taking the time to walk it to your doorstep. You get something not addressed to you? No point putting the flag on your box up, they won’t actually take improperly delivered mail back. Lazy and inept is the nicest way of putting it.
