- TMTatiana Maka5 days ago1.0I regularly use this post office to mail cremated remains on behalf of families, typically on a weekly basis, and I have always had a very positive experience with the two women who normally assist me. They are professional, kind, patient, and consistently provide excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my experience today with an employee named Marvin was completely different. He was extremely short, condescending, and lacked even basic customer-service courtesy. His manner of speaking and overall demeanor made what should have been a routine transaction unnecessarily unpleasant. It is especially concerning given the sensitive nature of what I am mailing. These packages contain the cremated remains of someone’s loved one, and while I certainly don’t expect special treatment, I do expect to be treated with basic professionalism and respect. I use this location frequently and have never felt the need to complain about an employee before. In fact, I would specifically commend the two women who regularly help me because they have always been wonderful. That is why today’s interaction stood out so dramatically. Marvin would benefit from additional customer-service and interpersonal communication training. His demeanor came across as unnecessarily hostile and condescending, and this was genuinely the worst customer-service experience I have had at a post office. I hope management addresses this, because the service I normally receive at this location is excellent and today’s experience was completely inconsistent with that standard.
