    I want to express my sincere gratitude to the amazing staff at this post office. A special thank you to Lois Baker for going above and beyond to help locate my lost mail. It had been missing for more than two weeks, so I honestly thought it was gone for good. I was absolutely amazed when Lois was able to find it. The envelope contained extremely important personal documents, and her dedication truly saved my day. I can't thank her enough. I also want to thank Jean (hope I spelled it right) and the other three staff members who patiently helped me over four consecutive days as I kept coming back to ask about the missing mail. They never seemed bothered by my repeated questions. Every time, they were friendly, patient, and willing to check the tracking, investigate what might have happened, and offer helpful suggestions. Their professionalism, kindness, and commitment to helping customers turned a very stressful experience into a positive one. USPS is truly lucky to have such dedicated employees. Thank you again to Lois, Jean, and the entire team for your outstanding service. I really appreciate everything you did to help.

    UPDATE: 5/21/26 Came back to get my lost package and they opened at 8:45 am 15 minutes later than expected, what is wrong with this Branch?FOLLOW UP: Expecting a package since late April 2026, arrived at the post office on 5/1/26 and today is 5/20/26 and the package is nowhere to be found, the sender filed a missing package report, apparently they found it but I have been to the branch at least 6 times and nobody can find the package, got a text and an email yesterday and went this morning and around 1:00 pm today nothing, they asked me to leave my contact information again and the Supervisor (who is never there) will call me back, guess what, she never called me. This branch should be ranked the worst brach in California if not in the continental US. They open later than posted, employees have attitude (today it was Tatiana) and bad customer service, she doesn’t know how to do her job or basic maths to calculate postage, this has been an ongoing problem since I moved to Emeryville in 2007. Now Rasheeda came to help and same horrible attitude….they all have the same behavior and I can see may complaints but nothing is done like they shipped out my packages for free…..

    There’s this young lady who seems to be a little bias about people from different cultures. I feel like she treats clients base on race versus people. I hope they can get someone with better people skills. I live a block away and will be going to the Berkeley location. Jason is really good here!
