I had a scheduled passport appointment and a confirmation email, only to be told the day of my appointment that I wasn’t even on their list for passport services…and that the employee who handles passports is out for ten days. When I asked how that was possible considering I had a confirmed appointment, I was told that I “didn’t do it right.” I’m sorry, but if your system allows someone to schedule an appointment, sends them a confirmation, and then your office has no record of it, that is a system/office issue…not a customer issue. If you’re scheduling passport services here, I highly recommend calling ahead to confirm they actually have you on their list before taking time off work and making the trip. 🙄

They should have signage to let customers know they need to write the return address and the recipients address before waiting in a long line only to be handed a pen and told to go write the addresses and get back in the long line again. The general public is not aware of postal rules. And the post office has no transparency for something as simple as this.
