- AAArithromaniacJun 16, 20261.0I had lost my key to the mail box bc my key ring broke and I was hoping to request a copy or replacement because my mail box is operated and maintained by usps, supposedly. i called during business hours and there was no response. i figured that they were maybe busy in person, so i waited an hour to call again. and i checked to make sure that i was still calling within business hours and not super late near closing. and i still didn't get any response. i ended up calling every like hour from noon to close and didn't get any response. i understand that they're probably short-staffed or something but i was still hoping that i could leave a voice mail since if I understand correctly I have to prove ownership of the mailbox and didn’t know if I could just walk in for this.
