Extremely disappointing experience with this USPS location. My parents sent me a very important international package from Russia containing personal family belongings and photographs. USPS tracking shows that the package became Available for Pickup at this Concord location on August 10, 2026. I went to USPS multiple times trying to locate and receive my package. On August 15, USPS tracking was still sending me a “Reminder to Schedule Redelivery.” Then, without my authorization and without me refusing the package, USPS apparently sent it back. By August 21, tracking showed it had already been moved to the Los Angeles Distribution Center for international transit. What makes this especially concerning is that USPS International Mail Manual (IMM) §766.1 states that Post Office facilities must hold international mail items for pickup by the addressee for 30 days, subject to specific exceptions. My package appears to have been removed from this Post Office after only about 10–11 days. I never refused this package. I was actively trying to get it. My parents spent a significant amount of money sending it from Russia, and the contents have enormous personal value to me. I would like USPS management to explain: Why was my international package returned before the applicable retention period expired, despite me actively trying to retrieve it? I am asking management to investigate this case and, if the package is still in the United States, make every possible effort to stop the return and get it back to me. This is not just a delayed package. These are irreplaceable personal belongings from my family.

The passport portion of the branch is absolutely horrendous in sight and service. Not helpful or accommodating at all. Lazy.

I would rate no stars if it were an option. Just like everyone else, LAZY workers snd dismissive! I had a package sent overnight to be picked up at this location and paid extra for it to be delivered. Received txt messages that my package was scanned and could be picked up at this location and was told they could not find it and could be with the courier. I receive another txt that the package AGAIN was at this location and was told the same thing. Same lazy ladies working. Dismissive and repeats the same phrase “it could be with the courier”. Not till I file a claim do I get a message that they tracked the package and it was in fact at the location. INSANITY!!!! This location is horrible! Worst customer service- unprofessional, dismissive, LAZY!

The mailman forgot to put the parcel locker key into my mailbox so I could get my package. It would be no big deal, everyone makes mistakes, but I needed that package asap and now I can’t access it. I tried to call them to ask if they could leave me the key but no one answered the phone. I called 6 times and no one answered. I now don’t have my medication I needed yesterday and have to go in person be cause no one answers their phone calls. Grossly incompetent.
