2x this month my delivery said "attempted delivery'. My front door is never blocked. Im always home. I work from home. SO That's a lie. 100% lie. Last month my dogs remains were MISDELIVERED and my signature was forged. That box said PET REMAINS. In May my medication was again attempted AT THE MALL!! I dont live at the mall! I tried for over 2 hours to reach someone at the post office, NO ANSWER.

There was no line and the woman assisting me behind the counter with the nicest lady in the world. I hadn't been in a post office in years. It was neither frightening or unpleasant. But man postage rates are much higher. I think they're higher than Snoop Dogg.

Worst experience ever at this chula vista USPS office. I went today to return an item and received the worst customer service from one the Male Asian's Postman. Very rude, unprofessional and careless. I wasnt able to submit a complaint since I had to leave however, I will return back and submit it. Went to the USPS in City Heights same day and received the best services though.

I would like to provide feedback regarding an employee named Rey at the USPS branch on 3rd Avenue in Chula Vista. I have been coming to this branch for about two years to send care packages to my husband while he is deployed. Most of the employees I have interacted with have been kind, helpful, and professional. They answer my questions, offer assistance with customs forms, and make the process smooth. Unfortunately, my experience with Rey has been consistently negative. Every time he assists me, he comes across as rude, impatient, and dismissive. He frequently tells me things like “don’t do this” or “don’t do that next time” in a condescending manner, even though I have been mailing packages the same way for the past two years without issues. Other employees have never raised these concerns and have always been helpful and respectful. In addition to his comments, his body language and facial expressions often make it seem as though he is annoyed by having to help customers. He regularly shakes his head while reviewing my customs forms and makes me feel uncomfortable during the interaction. My most recent experience was on June 3, 2026. After processing my package, he threw my copy of the customs form onto the counter rather than handing it to me. While this may seem minor, it reflected the same pattern of disrespectful behavior I have experienced from him repeatedly. I have always remained polite and respectful during our interactions, and I do not believe I have done anything to warrant being treated this way. I am not sure if other customers have had similar experiences, but I wanted to bring this to your attention because this level of customer service is disappointing and does not reflect the positive experiences I have had with the rest of the staff at this branch. I hope management will address this concern and ensure that all customers are treated with courtesy and professionalism. Thank you for your time and attention.

Arrived in the morning when they opened and they only had one postal worker working the lobby, took 30 minutes to get certified mail. With a large line of customers they should have 2 to 3 clerks when they open. Due to additional parking on the side being removed for customers, people are now parking in the red. I had to complain about the one mail box being left locked in the drive through after they were open. This was horrible during the holiday season. I also had to complain about the package drop off bins being locked in the morning in the lobby, I tried to hand postal clerk my package and she said she could not take it to put it in the package drop off. I told her the bins are locked and she reluctantly went and unlocked both bins, that should have been done in the first place. Another customer told me thank you as she needed to drop off her package as well, with this post office you have to complain and demand service to get something done or employees will walk all over you with disrespect and attitude. One thing on Sunday there is no way to enter the lobby and the mail boxes are locked, so no dropping any mail here that day, if you drive to the Eastlake office you can. I have also reported lost mail from this post office and nothing is ever done to find it. I sent priority mail and that was lost as the person I sent it to said it was never received and USPD would not honor the refund request because the postal worker said it was delivered. Management needs training and management needs to get on the ball here and train their employees how to provide good customer service. They need to stop dragging their feet, get things done and prepare early so bins are unlocked early, mail boxes are accessible and more than 1 clerk is helping 20 customers in line when they open. Rrally everytime I go here feels like pulling teeth, so slow. They remodeled the place but same staff that seem to not be enthusiastic about their job and helping customers! Might be time for some to retire! Sad but true!
