My experience today at the passport office was beyond great. First I arrived 15 minutes late to my son's passport appointment. When I asked if I will be able to be seen, the first lady stated I am passed my appointment time which I understood. I then proceeded to ask if they have walk ins and the times they do them which the first lady began explaining when Katiuska I believe is her name asked how late I was and I said 15 minutes she then said I can help you, you just have to wait. I was beyond ecstatic as my son is needing this for his trip coming up. Not only did you help us without needing too as we were late and therefore lost our appointment but you did so in such a manner that shows you love your job and serving your community. Thank you for assisting me and going above and beyond your duties and responsibilities.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at this post office. Been going here all my life, lived in the area for 40 years and have never been turned away. This is why people don't like postal workers. Went twice in one day to drop off a pre-labeled package. The girl at 1:00 had no one in line except for me and yet I waited for 10 minutes and she still never helped me. She disappeared to the back and I never saw her again. I had to leave because I was on my lunch break. Came back later in the day 10 minutes before closing and was turned away by someone saying they were closed. Not according to the time. He had a line and was by himself. That is not right and not good service. Dude was overwhelmed and clearly worthless at his job. It is a shame to see what has happened to my local Post Office. Postal workers should be required to work retail so they can gain some customer service skills.

They don't have enough staff—there's only one teller—so the lines take 40 minutes.
