We had a great experience at the USPS Chowchilla location during our child's passport appointment. The staff was courteous and helpful, and Mike was incredibly professional, kind, and patient, and he took the time to help us even as the office was getting close to lunch. His attitude made the whole process easy and stress‑free. Thank you, Mike, for your outstanding service.

I am appalled that my package was delivered completely cut open. This was not an accidentally damaged box, someone physically took a knife and opened it. The box was sliced open, not even along the seams. This was a business package from a brand I'm partnering with, and I have no way of knowing if products are missing. I now have to contact the company to verify what was originally shipped because of this breach. I've never experienced anything like this from a post office. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Packages should arrive the way they were sent, sealed and secure. Do better. UPDATE: I spoke with the brand that sent the package, there was in fact one product missing. Someone during processing or at the post office cut open my box and took a product. When Terrence called to follow up, he made the situation worse. He mispronounced my name and said it was "too hard" for him to pronounce, unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of addressing the issue, he made excuses for the carrier, claiming she didn't "recognize" that the box was wide open. No accountability. No solution. No offer to tape it up or leave a note. Just attitude and excuses. A product was stolen and all I received was dismissiveness. Unacceptable.

My experience is the employees here are incompetent and really don't know how to do their jobs. I came to my scheduled PIV appointment only to find that they don't have anyone here to do that. The supervisor a Hindi woman literally hid her name on her badge so I couldn't get her name. I repeatedly requested her card and name to document whom I spoke with she refused to give me any of her public information. When I asked for the postmaster I was told he was not there and then she tells me that he's in a meeting. Then scurried off to the back. I traveled three hours round trip to get this done and had the appointment well in advance. When I told the front desk employee Freddy and Sabrina they refused to give me even the basic information like site number or post master information. These people need to learn that they work for the public and are not above the people who employ them.

Staff was friendly but it took an hour for them to help us with our passport applications. We were just standing around. Keep in mind that we got there early...Then I got notified right then and there that I had to bring photos so I had to go to rite aid. It was a bad experience, next time I'll just go somewhere else.
