  Scam, fraud and probably breaking federal law of tampering with mail!! The employee working on 4th May who took two hours to serve us (in retrospect waiting for other customers to leave although we were there first) and completed the paperwork after we left INSISTED on using our driver as the sender, as a local address and sender were required, we were notified after already filling out our forms. We were shipping our very valuable, very expensive items, home to Australia. Of course it was the driver that had the brilliant, insistent idea to ship back home instead of carrying the heavy luggage. Apparently there would be no issue, but if there was, we would be contacted and as we would be in USA almost another week, we'd know Our delivery would arrive home to Australia before we did. Except when we returned to Australia, it took over a month of following up and emails and calls to be told that only days after visiting the DHL store, the shipment had been "returned to sender", the driver! We realise he could have contacted us but didn't. We messaged him, nothing. Apparently DHL also refunded the shipping fee? Probably to the driver, definitely not to myself who paid. There is something very unsavoury and this scam has not been appropriately supported by DHL. No doubt this has happened to others also! This driver also then charged us $7k for a fare quoted $1200. His details are below, as well as his dad who suddenly swapped with him as driver after we left DHL. It would be so great if DHL went to his address and followed up, as well as with your scam employee who is likely his friend, rather than provide respond with a generic response.
