I wish I could give negative stars to the woman at the counter. I was trying to ship an international package and had already sealed the box and filled out the customs form. She saw me but took a long time to come help me even though she was at the counter I wish I could give negative stars to the woman at the counter. I was trying to ship an international package and had already sealed the box and filled out the customs form. She took a long time to come help me, even though she was already at the counter.
She then said my description wasn’t detailed enough and made me open the package and add more details. After that, she told me I had to buy tape from the store and tape it myself because she had no free tape to help me reseal it. It’s USPS, oh God…!!! When I got back in line, she tried to skip me and asked people behind me who wanted to be next, even though I was first (what was that question even mean??)
She was super mean and difficult throughout the whole experience like I owed her something. I decided not to mail it there because of her attitude and poor service.
Sharon was always so sweet and supportive, so this woman’s service was especially disappointing. I’ll mail the package from Monterey instead. I’m pretty sure she was having a bad day and took it out on everyone around her. I hope if you are reading this, avoid Asian woman at the counter to keep your experience positive.

The customer service here is absolutely terribly. Nobody wants to try, except when they’re trying to be difficult. For years I’ve had packages refused because people don’t include the PO Box. I can’t control how others ship samples or returns. If I know people are returning items through the post office I always advise them to include the PO Box. I had sample hats on order for a month, plus a week of ship time, only to be refused at 6:30am. When I went that same day I get a snarky reply about how the package has been returned and I’ll have to wait. Sharon is great, apart from her, they could all go.

First time at this location, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The employee, Lolita, was rude and unprofessional from the start. She was texting/ watching on her personal cell phone and didn’t greet me. When I said I needed to drop off packages, she bluntly told me, “Next time drop your packages over there in the corner.”
I politely replied, “Sure, ma’am, but I need a receipt.” She looked frustrated that I had interrupted her personal social media time and said she couldn’t give me a receipt—just told me to take a picture of the packages instead.
After I insisted, she reluctantly weighed my boxes and claimed they were overweight compared to my labels, saying she needed to charge me more. When I asked to speak with a manager, she disappeared for about 10 minutes with no explanation. I then asked another colleague for help, and that employee shouted, “Someone does not want to wait.”
Lolita eventually returned from the back—without any manager—and said, “We are a non-profit organization. We don’t make money, that’s why we’re losing our business and always at a loss.” She kept my packages but never gave me a receipt. I now have no way to confirm if my packages were actually delivered. I am thinking to switch my business account to UPS.
I strongly urge the management of USPS Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA (This Location) to address this unprofessional behavior. No customer should be treated this way. Lack of office etiquette, communication skills and misrepresentation of USPS will erode the business from within.

Lost my package. Promised to look for it but I had to call multiple times afterwards to remind them to.
