- JDJoe DoeMay 1, 20261.0Typical government business, like a DMV office. Staff is verbally very polite, but their actions demonstrate disinterest to serve you. As if you pay to entertain the needs of the staff, not the other way around. Here are a few examples. Employees take their breaks when there's a long line of customers instead of joining to process the line faster and take their break after -- something most private businesses do (UPS, FedEx). Just when your turn comes, the window employee slaps a "next window please" sign in your face and leaves the room. You are expected to manually fill out forms and be turned back to fill another if you picked the wrong one. Employees then re-enter that form data into a computer either way. Confusing naming is viewed as a form of art. Here's a riddle -- Is "Priority mail" prioritized higher and "First Class Mail" comes second? Or, does "First Class" come first and "Priority" comes at a lower priority? Hmm...

They were also extremely patient when I came to fill out my passport application: I was late and filled out both pages incorrectly...so grateful the staff took their time with me ❤😭 thank you 🙏 Also glad the office finally got an AC! No idea how the workers were surviving in summer months before that 😬
