- EEEricApr 17, 20261.0Staples is a Happy Returns drop off point that a number of online retailers use. Bring in the item, scan the QR code. Quick. Easy. Convenient. I had a return to process there and I had the original shipping envelope the item came in. The clerk handling the return said I could "just leave it in there." I asked her to please shred the shipping label with my name and address on the item. To which the clerk replied "no one here has time for that or cares" or words to that effect. Being concerned with identity theft, I pulled the item (clothing) out of the shipping envelope and laid it on the counter so I could destroy the shipping label myself as I DO care about identity theft. The clerk responded to this with a sarcastic "seriously?" Hense my review. Hire enough staff to deal with these things and train them to at least pretend to care. I know retail jobs suck, but come on.
