  This has got to be the worst post office I have ever used. I have had a P.O. box there for a few years and evertime I have to go to the counter it is the worst experience. There is always a long line. The same short guy with white hair is always so unpleasant, I hope he retires soon.

  There doesn't seem to be a lot of positive reviews for the Payson post office. We also waited 3 weeks for our mail box to be re-keyed and to get the keys. We received our mail for a day or two, then the carrier changed the name of our box and we began receiving someone else's mail, and none of ours. I lost a package yet tracking shows it was delivered to my mail box. I think mail theft is a felony. I digress. Long story short, the retail counter gentleman was not willing to help at all. Not his job description. But ask to speak to the Post Master or site Manager. He took care of the situation right away and said he would follow up by the end of today. I'm hoping for the best. I don't know why Payson USPS struggles so much. Maybe they need more help (staff). There are good folks there doing their best to help. Just get to the right person as the counter folks are there to sell stamps.

  I've been waiting 3 weeks for a mailbox key. This is ridiculous and not getting any help with anyone there. So I have to pick up my mail and in doing so a package was there waiting for me. I was told it wasn't there and had to provide the tracking number. I was told the address was wrong because the apartment number was above the address, are you kidding me. So if it's not resolved by Monday I'm calling Washington and a few other places. I'm not mad just very disappointed with the postal service here since my uncle worked in Washington and other places for them for years. Just wanted to update on August 3, 2026 received my mailbox keys and they work.

  The single guy that I waited an hour in line to speak with couldn't find my package, even though his own research said it was in the office. The website also said it was there. So did my tracking number. Not helpful in the least and dismissive. Overall a frustrating and disappointing experience.

  I submitted the required paperwork for a medical hardship and home mail delivery more than three weeks ago. After submitting the documents, I left a detailed voicemail requesting confirmation that they had been received. To date, I have not received any acknowledgment or response. The lack of communication and follow-up has been very disappointing. I expected at least a confirmation that my paperwork was received and an update on the status of my request. Based on my experience, the level of customer service has been unacceptable.
