I appreciate the owner of this location so much, he went out of his way to provide a solution for me to print something important. During these times that we are in where it seems like many people only care about money or what is best for them, he helped me and cared. Someone had to say it. I normally don’t have the time to write messages like this, but today I felt it was important.
I’ve been coming to this location for the past three years because it’s the closest one to me. Over time, I’ve noticed behavior from the owner, Kevin, that I find deeply concerning. Being in a position of authority does not justify speaking rudely to staff or customers. Each visit, there is a noticeable sense of discomfort among both employees and customers when he interacts with them.
Unfortunately, today that behavior was directed at my daughter. I had sent her in to process a return and specifically asked her to go to an associate to avoid confusion, since one item was from TikTok and another from Amazon. Instead of assisting her respectfully, he told her, “you could’ve gone to self-checkout,” and spoke to her in a harsh and dismissive tone. He also raised his voice at her for lightly leaning on a wooden table—something he ignored when another customer did the same.
My daughter is 15 years old and struggles with anxiety. The way she was treated had a clear emotional impact—she came back to the car visibly upset and didn’t even feel like eating afterward. What makes this even harder is that our family is currently going through an incredibly difficult time, having just lost her uncle. Kindness and basic respect would have gone a long way.
You never know what someone is dealing with, and there is no excuse for treating people this way—especially young customers. I also want to point out that the staff appear consistently uncomfortable and unhappy, which reflects a deeper issue in how they are being treated.
I am asking that this be taken seriously. There needs to be a change—not just in how customers are treated, but in how staff are spoken to as well. No one should feel disrespected in their workplace or while simply trying to complete a transaction.
Please ensure this is addressed. Enough is enough.
