I don’t understand the low rating for this post office? I don’t live in flagstaff, but always find when I visit and receive packages here the staff are courteous and friendly. My packages are handled/delivered without issue (even when coming from FedEx and UPS). Pickup of large packages is allowed from the rear dock and if you have many packages, they will load in a cart for you. People in this town don’t realize how good you have it. There are some PO’s across the country that have bitter employees and PO generals on power trips implementing rules that are not customer friendly. This office is definitely way above average. -Thanks!

I live at 5000 mall way and we have mailboxes for the postal workers to put things in. If it doesn’t fit in the mail box they should bring it to the door just as if I’m at a house. Instead our lazy mail lady decides to put them in the package lockers which are for Amazon FedEx and ups not the postal service. They use all the locker space so the delivery drivers don’t have lockers for us. Also the worst part is I didn’t sign up for the lockers but I do have a mail box, so my package didn’t fit in a mail box and because I didn’t pay 50 dollars to get a locker my package was sent back to sender because the mail lady is lazy. This is ridicoulus and I’m tired of hearing excuses do your job.

I’ve used a lot of post offices over the years, and this is easily one of the worst-run locations I’ve dealt with. I came in with a fully sealed package and a printed shipping label ready to go—just needed it taped on. The clerk refused to attach it and told me I had to purchase tape from them. When I questioned it, I was told outright that it’s “a way for them to make money.” That’s not policy—that’s a deliberate choice to nickel-and-dime customers over something that takes five seconds. At most United States Postal Service locations, staff will quickly tape a label as a basic courtesy. Here, they refuse entirely and turn it into a transaction. What makes it worse is that this location already struggles with basic accountability. Packages and mail go missing or get mishandled far too often. Instead of tightening operations, the focus seems to be on selling tape and doing the bare minimum. The manager was unprofessional, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in addressing any of these issues. The overall impression is a poorly managed branch where customer service and reliability are not priorities. Given the ongoing issues with lost or mishandled packages, combined with questionable, revenue-driven practices like this, this location warrants an audit and further review by higher-level oversight. If you have another option, use a different location. This one is not dependable.

I was watching a First Amendment Audit video today from 5 years ago by Watching the Watchman on YouTube. This audit was a fail and the Postmaster got owned. See photos below ⬇️. They called the police 👮 and they responded. One Officer. The auditor showed the Officer poster 7 that allows recording on Postal property. Then he spoke with the Postmaster and she said she was already aware they were able to record. Why did she call a man with a gun? This whole audit was a failure 😞 but the Postmaster got schooled. Do better Barbara!! The internet 🛜 and YouTube are forever!
