My mail is constantly lost or does not get delivered when it says it's going to. A package sat in the Brookland PO for almost 3 days and my tracking info said it was out for delivery. If I knew it was going to just sit there I would have driven down and picked it up myself. I have had mail show up weeks after it has been post marked. What has happened to our Postal Service in this country? They keep raising prices for just more horrible service!

I agree with the other reviews saying the lady needs to work on her customer service skills. I have been there twice and got the same feeling both times. First time I brought something without a box and she immediately said "well you don't have a box, so I can't help you" and started to walk away. I said 'hey, wait, do you not sell boxes here?'. She said "oh, yeah, I mean, we have this one but it costs money..." The box costed like $1.50. Then I said I needed to get the address from email on my phone and she jumped to "well the only way I could help you is if you had a QR code" and started walking away again. So again, I said wait, stop, I have a QR code right here. This second time I walked in with a package I needed to send back and sat it down. A small envelope. As soon as I sat it down to open my phone for the address, she said "You need to make sure it's taped next time.". I didn't even know I could re-use that envelope... and even if I did, she needs to hound people about tape? On a 6 inch envelope? The united states postal service is so broke that they can't afford to tape envelopes closed? Could you just charge a dollar for the tape that costs 3 cents? Does any other post office even think twice about it, much less reprimand paying customers over it? Isn't this a government agency, paid for by tax dollars? Does she get a bonus if she saves tape? Hate to be that guy, but usually small town post offices are a pleasure to deal with, and there is no reason this one needs to be different.

The clerk that helped me was very kind and professional. Great personable attitude. Now, my mail delivery, on the other hand, is a completely different situation. He is very lazy and we don't always get our mail when we are supposed to. I will be outside waiting, and he will just drive by. I guess he doesn't feel like stopping, and he NEVER put my packages by my front door, always in front of my garage, even when it's raining, ugh! He puts that it was delivered to my front door every time.

I will be going to the Jonesboro location before going back to the Brookland post office. The lady is rude and disrespectful with a very smart aleck attitude. Customer service is NOT her strong suit, but should be with this position. I never leave bad reviews on any business, nor do I complain, but I felt I needed to with this.

We would rather use this post office in Brookland than driving to Jonesboro. Big enough to get things done small enough to not have hassel.
