- JHJRussell HudsonFeb 27, 20241.0I have been a customer of this post office for 30 years, and never had an experience like the one I had today. I waited in my vehicle until 1 minute past opening time of 1:00 PM. I went inside and asked is it one o'clock ? No answer, I then knocked, not banged, on the wall 3 little times, and was immediately yelled at and was ordered very rudely to not ever knock again. I then asked if it was 1 o'clock again, and she got much more rude, and asked me if I had a watch? Then as she opened the metal wall, and doing so is very noisy, she was trying to lecture me as she opened ir. I said I can't hear youu until she got the wall open. After which she refused to speak. She took my packages, and gave me my receipt, and refused to communicate further. I left, then went back inside and said I want to see the postmaster, and was ordered to leave by this same rude woman. She thinks the public has to obey her. I will use FedEx and UPS from now on.
- JMJohn MooreNov 2, 20235.0Woodstock Al post office is the best!! I am always treated like a preferred customer when I come in. The people in the office are extremely professional and friendly. And my mail lady has gone above and beyond her responsibility to ensure that my packages are delivered. I had a problem recently with my packages going missing and after delivering one my mail carrier, as she was pulling away noticed the dog from across the street come and get it out of the box, she came back and chased it down to retrieve my items. She could have just drove away, but she didn't. Best mail carrier ever!!
