  They do not scan items in, they leave them sitting in the blue drop off for weeks and when asked why package hasn’t been scanned they say they don’t get scanned. Meanwhile I’m sure they’re not checking the box and my packages are sitting there.

  Yet another order apparently "delivered" but missing like so many others! We OFTEN have to physically go to the post office and ask for packages due to the postal workers not delivering them & not leaving any postal notes notifying they are at the post office. It's a continuous issue and it's getting old! This is ridiculous! Last week one of our deliveries showed the items sitting at the post office for days...I go in person to ask about retrieving them, they say they aren't there. We wake up the next morning and miraculously said packages are dumped in our yard, rained on and soaked. 3 package issues in less than a 2 week period. 1) MIA package, luckily it was at the post office, no note left to come pick it up - luckily we track where our packages are but often get told they aren't at the post office. 2) Missing package, no help finding it...then BAM they find it and dump it to get rained on overnight. 3) A completely missing package (No surprise, everyone on our road ends up with each other's packages and mail!). Do Better!

  This review is more directed at the US Post Office then the South Vinemont location. The employees are very nice at this location but I am not pleased with the value of service that is provided. First of all $216 a year for a post office box is ridiculous with zero senior discount offered. The cost of postage is rediculous which is why Christmas cards have become a thing of the past. It is costly to send an item certified with return receipt requested. In one year I sent three items return receipt requested. None of the items were signed for and one was totally lost. The response is "well they obviously didn't sign" but no refund for the failure of service is provided. Also one of our packages was lost by the post office. While this location tries hard to provide decent service the national post office system is far from acceptable.

  The lady at the desk was one of the rudest people i ever met....and I work retail! I will go out of my way to never use this post office 😡

  There were 2 small packages delivered to us today, one was brought into the sunroom while the other was left out in the middle of the pattio. It wasn't even put on the front stoup. It is supposed to rain today. The package could have gotten wet. We are disabled. What was your problem?
