This Post Office is a disgrace. It is filthy inside and out. The grass needs cutting and the hedges need trimming and briars and trash etc should be removed. The line was to the door and only one clerk was working. It is a dismal place and the experience frustrating. The fact that people visiting Tuscaloosa come here to do business reflects badly on the city. The upkeep has been ignored to the extent that it is an embarrassment. Is the postal service in such dire straights that they are going to allow their buildings to rot down around their ears? I have noticed other post offices need lawn care but the inside was tolerable. The people in charge obviously don't care. Hiring a lawn service and a cleaning service should be standard procedure. And if they already have one, they are not doing their job.

I'm currently receiving my house mail at 7 pm. Used to get mail at 11 am. Then my husband made a complaint about picking up some groceries he left at the mailbox for the courier. When he called, then went to the postal office, they weren't interested. But, yet they gave the notice of putting groceries to the curb for charity. Anyway, after that we started receiving our mail at 7 pm. I guess, the postmaster, or whomever is so Trumpy, this is sad. We'll, if I need something to go out on time, I guess I need to run to Birmingham to mail something important. So tired of this mess. And the cul-de-sac I live in, in Tuscaloosa is all black. Enough said.

Less than worthless, beyond incompetent. Unfriendly, lazy staff. God help you if you use USPS. Good luck getting anything delivered.

04/03/2026 - 1 clerk (steady working), a long line, and it's HOT in here. Ten minutes later and I'm out the door. Good job to the supervisor who came out to help and got another clerk.
