- GRGary RAug 11, 20265.0In my area I have a choice of 3 local post office locations all within in about 15 minutes of our house. The Tallassee location is head and shoulders above the other 2. More consistency, the operating hours are more convenient with longer hours on Saturday and the staff has always been helpful and friendly.
- MJMelissa JonesJul 14, 20261.0My husband dropped off a packed one 6/24/2026. Tracking shows it hasn't moved from there. I filed a a missing package report and no one has called me back yet. Finally spoke to a Kimberly Jones who stated shes the one who handles these things and that she was emailing the supervisors at the location where packages where and that it was probably stuck in a bin somewhere. This was on a Thursday and she said she was off that Friday so she wouldnt hear anything back till probably Monday. She gave me her email address and requested i send her pictures of the missing item to help find them. I sent them to her. Since then i have heard nothing back from her and she now ignores my emails. How does a 5ft long package just dissappear? Sounds suspicious to me..... its 8/25/2026. Tracking shows item never left Tallassee

She helped get things handled quickly (I was there less than 5 minute each time) and she answered questions I had with a great attitude. I'd definitely recommend stopping by Tallassee PO if you need something sent off.
