I'm ashamed that I was treated so poorly and got ROBBED by the woman behind the desk. I dropped by and asked to mail a book that was in a 5x8 1" thick envelope for the cheapest price possible. She waited on another man while I filled out a paper she gave me. I told her I'm very nearly blind and trusted what she gave me. Ahh. Before that I noticed some gloves and took 4 (2 for me and 2 for my daughter) she asked WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I explained that I'm allergic to all antibiotics and normally bring in my own bc I don't need to be touching things without protection. I offered to pay for them or go back to my car for my own (was headed to dr and in a hurry). She was very condescending and said no.. I just never saw anyone just take gloves. I asked if they were for a specific purpose and again offered to pay. She refused and began to wait on the other man who came in after me. My time came and I was appalled that a half pound book for $20 costed me $25 to send the cheapest way possible. I asked her specifically AGAIN if that was the cheapest way possible to send it. She curtly snapped YES. I was surprised and in a hurry so I turned to leave. She then said it would be delivered tomorrow via UPS. Not at all what I asked for 2 times. I feel ashamed for being treated so very rudely and not having time to address it at that moment. In fact, it wasn't until I was at the dr that I realized that it was sent UPS NOT cheapest via USPS as I asked for. Oh, and when she stood up I noted a "Christian book" she'd been reading before I came in. Being a fellow Christian i was sad to see that's the impression that a non Christian could receive from her behavior. Im not judging by any means. Just confused that our actions don't match our "words". I've checked and the book would have costed me $7.90 to send the cheapest way via USPS. She clearly meant to do this and it all began to go awry when I took 4 free non latex gloves meant for public use. Im not a thief nor a fool but surely got treated like both and will NEVER step foot in Postnet again. I almost admired how pretty she was and how nice it would have been if I could still wear makeup. I have hashimotos disease and allergies to most anything that touches me. BUT, I was clean and properly dressed and EVEN if I'd been unkempt (I WAS NOT).. our Bible says to be careful for we never know when we may entertain angels. Im certainly no angel but we all deserve to be treated with professional kindness even if we do not meet the standards of others. Now. Ive said my piece and too much. But woman (i can't say lady), you were dead wrong for ripping me off, lying to me and completely ignoring my desires to mail a $20 book for $25. We both know it. And I'm certain you remember me as the "2 pr glove thief" who did offer to pay when you made such a fuss. Fool me once, shame on you.. there will not be a twice to shame on me. I have the receipt but bc of personal info will not post it. Thank you for making my already difficult to step out of the house bc of the way I look.. to be a good example that people are as UGLY in there hearts as it feels. You were a strikingly pretty woman for our age. Pretty is skin deep but my friend ugliness goes to the marrow of the bone. Im past done! And I'm very educated but seriously visually impaired so if there are mistakes. Tell God on me for that too. Shame on you.
