- DPDJ ProMay 6, 20262.0Nope. Was hopeful, but no. Just took in 3 letters bc mail isn’t getting to where it needs to go… pregnant lady (customer before me found this out) at counter put it all on the counter rather than in the bin. I had 2 packages- asked if she could read my writing- said yes- got the receipt and is the WRONG CITY and Zip. At that time- she put that package in the bin- and the other exact same size package on the counter. Make it make sense. Take 2 minutes to do your job well- or at least correctly.

The postal person who serviced my area in Gurley, AL before was Ms. Pat and now it is Ms. Theresa. IMO, both young ladies have done a wonderful job of ensuring my mail gets delivered and that packages are placed close to my front door and out of the weather! When I see them driving by, they smile and wave which makes my day! Thank you ladies and thank you Gurley Post Office for the professional and friendly service you provide! Please keep up the great work!

- CEChristine EasterwoodJan 17, 20231.0I stopped in a few minutes to closing time today at the Gurley office. Asked for advice on how to label and mail something first class vs doing it priority. The clerk told me I had 7 minutes to figure it out myself. When i asked to please borrow a marker (next to her register) to prepare the label the clerk told me i “should have come prepared.” I was shell shocked. I’m a federal employee also and was embarrassed by her customer service. NOT a good look for the Gurley US Post Office. Couldn’t even lend me a marker. To figure it out myself.
