- BSBruce ShoemakeMay 29, 20261.0By far the most incompetent post master in the system. I hesitate to blame the carriers since I believe the good ones either don’t last long or get assigned to different routes. I am a firm believer that failed leadership produces mediocre employees. I can’t count the times I’ve complained to no avail. The excuses are always the same. And the notices always indicate a problem with the customer. I don’t see it changing until the current post master retires (because if he could be fired I think he would have been by now).

I waited for 20 mins before they bothered to unlock the post office doors, even though they were up front & seen me waiting at the doors. When they finally did open up, late, they didn’t even apologize or give any excuse why they didn’t open on time. The man who opened the door just said, “She’ll be with you in a minute.” & then immediately turned around & walked away. So then I had to continue waiting for the woman to finish doing whatever she was doing & come to the counter so I could finally get my package shipped. I thought I could just stop by quickly before work but it ended up being a 35 minute ordeal & made me late to work as well. I’m really irritated at the indifference they show when it comes to other peoples time.
