Juneau mendenhall post office is the most horrible place to do business. ANSWER THE PHONE ! I dealt with this same problem year after year and I finally got a response when I made a complaint
- NNNateJan 25, 20242.0Had a rude experience with William. All the other employees there are great folks. We’ve had more snow in the last 6 days than anyone so deliveries aren’t happening. Anyway no big deal, You go into the post office to pick up your packages, had the tracking number (which stated “ may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice beginning January 25, 2024 “ ) ID ready to go and he proceeded to tell me because it was on a snow delay it was a federal offense to go grab it. Which is not what the federal post says. Done this 4 times in the last week and a half and every other employee goes in the back to grab it? Am I missing something or is this guy just a lazy ? I’ve never received the run around from anyone there, as all others there are great.

We follow the tracking order on a recent amazon order and it was delivered. But, no one knows what address. Supposedly, they put the package on our packed mailbox. Yea, ok. Made a complaint and the post office cannot even take the time to follow up with some sort of contact. Just as bad as the thieves in this town..
