- AMAngela MyrickAug 10, 20262.0Why did they close the Post Office on the Elemendorf side of the base? This post office doesn't open until 1430, which is really inconvenient. Bring Tim back if there aren't enough postal workers.

They always close early, prior to their posted business hours, with no warning or explanation (i.e., sign on the door about needing to close early for a specific reason on any given day). Their normal hours are already extremely limited - literally only open for 6 hours a day - all during times when military members (supposedly their primary customers, given that they are located on a military installation) should be at at work/on duty. It shouldn't be difficult to stay open during the full 6 hours that you are supposed to be open according to your official signage. Do better USPS.

Multiple times I have showed up when they were supposed to be open as per multiple signs on the interior door and exterior door and online and they have not been open. Today I showed up at 1030 on a Tuesday and it was supposed to be open and it was now. We went to the other post office on base and they had not received a notification that she had called in and had told us this is common and he usually makes her own hours. She finally showed up and opened about 11ish and took forever in the back before she came out to help the large line of people already waiting. She was very rude and short with us and the others in front of us. This makes me not ever want to use USPS if this is how our local USPS treats their customers.
