  Working hard and being positive with negative comments from people waiting. Could be in a village where everything is just in an open space for anyone to take...Plus no open post office boxes...

  i had my medicine mailed to me and it was a available for pick up on the 11 of june ,i live here in bethel and it said delayed for reschedule lr returned to sender i still havent recieved a yellow slip for my medicine and it's already the 23 so my heart and seizure medicine is sitting at the post office so they can send it back to the hospital or keep it and sell it . this is not the first time my packages have been held back and not delivered it's sad this post office thinks they can give you your packages when they decide and that wrong they need to be investigated guess i have to call and complain and get somebody fired or reprimanded for thier personal actions what they dont know is once one employee gets in trouble for their actions the whole postal department suffers.!!!!!! . I have packages that have been there since the 16th and still no yellow slips. when i call nobody answers the last post master Murphy made sure packages were given yellow slips and delivered but this post office crew are picking and choosing who gets their mail on time and who has to wait ,then they return the packages to the sender i have been waiting for these packages i have the tracking numbers but iam gonna wait and see what happens and how long i have to wait untill they think i deserve stuff i paid for not them.

  3 stars because I’m sure the workers are trying with what they have, but this is 2026. No way should the entire town of Bethel be descending upon the post office everyday. I’ve now been through a winter up here and home delivery is absolutely possible within Bethel. There’s tons of money flowing through the community from federal and state levels, place a large lockable, metal robust mailbox (enough to hold a large package) in front of each house just off the road. Chain up a 4x4 special truck load it up and deliver. Anything super big can stay to be picked up. You just can’t keep running things like it’s a community of 50 people. It’s untenable. Same goes for other things like water, build a quality treatment plant and filter and treat river water to make the water actually safe and drinkable.

  This is not only a post office, it is also a community gathering place. One runs into everyone here waiting for packages. Sometimes the packages arrive later than expected, but the folks at the post office do a pretty good job try to unite everyone with their mail. It's a tough location to work but kudos to the US Postal Service for their good work here.
